When I Look Up at The Sky
I look up at the sky
And I wonder why it cries
Is it because the sun’s no longer nearby?
And I wonder why you left that day without even saying goodbye.
I knew that something had gone awry.
For you grew cold and callous.
And no matter how hard I tried,
you just became more malice.
No longer was there love in your eyes.
Our love had come to a tragic demise.
I tried to love you but all I got in return were lies.
And now when I look up at the sky,
I now know why it cries.
It’s because the sun left without even saying goodbye.
What we may view as ugly and monstrous may be viewed as lovely and beautiful in the eyes of another.
Love takes patience. It’s one of the hardest things to wait for, but it’s also one of the most rewarding things, once the wait is finally over. ♥
